Lots of folks wander around MidtownEast during the Catholic Lenten season wondering what they are going to eat on Fridays. When we observe our Greek Easter, which falls on May 1st this year, we make plenty of meat-free options. We make our Gemista with out beef, our Avgolemono without chicken, our Greek Salads without topping them with Lamb, and lots of roasted vegetables seasoned with Greek olive oil and herbs.
If you come down to 51st and Park Ave, you can order Egg and Cheese Sandwiches from our Breakfast Cart along with Greek Omelettes, and our delicious Hash-fries. If you decided to come to the truck for lunch, we have our Veggie Pita and Veggie Platter, along with our House and Greek Salads. Who could forget our crispy Greek seasoned fries? These are items we serve on a Daily basis and there might be the occasional Double Shrimp Souvlaki on Tuesday, Thursday, and during lent, on Fridays.
