We’ve decided to talk to you about the psychological thrillers on Netflix. Thus we can quickly answer the question many of you have been making online.

Yes, indeed, we were lucky enough to appear on Netflix’s psychological thriller, Gypsy starring Naomi Watts.

What is a Psychological Thriller?

According to Wikipedia a Psychological thriller is:

Psychological thriller is a thriller story which emphasizes the unstable psychological states of its characters. In terms of classification, the category is a subgenre of the broader ranging thriller category.  It has some similarities to Gothic and detective fiction. Sometimes, there is a “dissolving sense of reality”, moral ambiguity, and complex and tortured relationships between obsessive and pathological characters. Psychological thrillers often incorporate elements of or overlap with mystery, drama, action and horror (particularly psychological horror).

From time to time, we get contacted and hired by agencies to appear in commercials. Such as Snapple or LG USA Mobile where I appeared with some of my team members. They asked us to give them possibility to use our other Greek Food Cart for a comedy skit about Gyros for Jimmy Fallon.

Our team members have participated in shows like Chopped where my brother Frankie appeared. Also, Cutthroat Kitchen where Francesco and his wife Julia came in second place.

Showing Up in the Psychological Thrillers on Netflix Makes Us Stand Out

These opportunities are not easy to obtain. There are many food trucks in New York City, but we work hard to make sure we stand out!

Netflix gives our small business exposure.

Netflix contacted us about working on a new series last year. We knew it entailed a day away from our regular spot in Midtown. They needed a food truck for the scene. We were so excited they had contacted us! When they told us it was going to be a series featuring Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup, we couldn’t wait to get to work.

Yes, We’re a REAL Food Truck in New York City

We appreciate all of the messages from new and returning clients about spotting us in the series. One of the comments we received was that they had to come check out to see if it was a real food truck.

To those who are going to be watching the series Gypsy, we don’t park in the area where the scenes took place.

We are in Midtown Manhattan located at 51st and Park Avenue. So, you can find our Breakfast cart at 6 a.m. serving Greek Omelettes and Greek Coffee with our Greek yogurt fruit cups.

If you come for lunch, we start serving at 10 a.m until 4 p.m.

Another key point. You are always welcome!
