My brother Franky and I come from a family of food vendors. Most of our family members have been vending food since the old days of New York. We work mostly in Manhattan, the city that never sleeps, but we have worked in food vending in other places such as Queens. We were basically born into this tough and exciting food truck business.
For the last 8 years, Frank and I have been vending food in front of 345 Park Avenue. In 1971, our uncle started vending food with hot dogs and pretzels on 51st and Park Avenue. Forty-five years later, we are bringing nothing but the best quality Greek cuisine to New York City in our food truck.
Our menu offers traditional Greek food as well as our specials that vary weekly. Everything is prepared, seasoned, and marinated by our beautiful mother Katerina. Our mom loves to cook Kokkinisto, Keftedes, Gemista, Spanakopita, and other authentic Greek Cuisine that will make you want to come back for more.
The seasoning we use in our food consists of lemon, Greek olive oil, salt, and imported Oregano from Greece. Some folks take shortcuts in vending food; we don't and never will.
Our specialty is the Tzatziki sauce, traditionally used in Greek Cuisine; our sauce leaves our customers wanting more. This wonderful and delicious sauce is prepared from scratch by our mother. We use nothing but the finest and freshest ingredients. The secret ingredient is making the Tzatziki with our Greek Mother's love and passion.
