Yelp: This place screams quality! It’s huge, the owners are really nice. They are growing a fan base really quickly so I would go fast before the line gets crazy crazy long.

Foursquare: This place has the best Souvlaki, the tzatziki is excellent I have never seen a cleaner cart Standing on 51st and park avenue. amazing. The rice is off the hook.

Nummy Num Num: Today I tried out a Greek truck called Uncle Gussy’s. I got the lamb gyro pita (photo attached), and it seriously kicked arce. This place has actually been around for 39 years in Astoria…

Menu Pages: Have eaten there several times.. great food… always a long line but well worth it. One of Manhattan’s best vendors.

All things being equal: Hit up Uncle Gussy’s for a Chicken Souvlaki sandwich today… braved the cold with a friend (went early to beat the crowds). We returned, prizes in near-frozen hands, to the office to revel in our victory. I am pleased to report that the trip was well worth it. $4 for one of the most delicious souvlakis I’ve ever had!

Social Fetish: A picture is worth a thousand words…” && this photo definitely illustrates how AMAZING Uncle Gussy’s really is! I know, I know… it’s a food truck… but believe me when I say this they prepare the most delicious greek food around.
